Alex Robertson — Biographical Sketch
From a young age I was inspired to become a filmmaker. I still remember sitting in front of our television staring in awe as the boarding party of stormtroopers flooded the rebel ship in Star Wars.
Over the years I have grown to love all genres of movies and enjoy the works of Stanley Kubrick, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino, Peter Jackson, and many more.
I recently graduated from Grand Valley State University in Michigan, and I am excited to begin my own independent projects and support film-making and media ventures. Western Michigan is “home” and holds much potential but I look forward and am receptive to exploring and working world wide. I believe western Michigan holds a wealth of people and locations, making it perfect for shooting many of my ideas.
